I love the graphic and sound design on show here. is an interactive touchscreen installation designed for teaching children through fairy tales. The installation is specifically focused on improving social skills and imagination for 5-6 year olds.

It also helps the youngsters with basic skills like reading and writing. It’s playful, interactive and entertaining – everything good digital creative should be.

We’ve just read, via Slash Film, that Adam Sandler’s production company Happy Madison maybe making the short into a feature film with Sony.

“THR reports that, as Happy Madison has a first-look deal with Sony, that is where this odyssey begins. There isn’t yet a writer set for the project, but the idea is to make “a Ghostbusters-style action comedy in which characters come out of a video game to wreak havoc in the real world.”

A friend sent me a link to some work by Julien Valée. He’s a graphic designer based in Montreal, with bags of talent and some stunning conceptual work that combines different media. He definitely has his own style, which is evident when you look through his portfolio which contains some stunning work.

I found this wonderfully created interactive tarantula on my travels around the web, a true showcase of what is capable with a creative mind and a flair for technology. I’ve made a few enemies of arachnophobes around the building by sending this to people disguised in a TinyURL link (sorry Lorna!). It was worth it though…
