YouTube warp mode

Our senior developer Chris came across a new interface for searching in YouTube. It’s called warp mode, and uses an intuitive Flash user interface allowing people to watch and move between videos in a playful way. It’s a completely different approach to exploring the vaults of the online video giant – and quite an addictive one too!
I’m unsure whether it’s currently a hidden feature, or in beta testing mode. There’s a lot of talk about the future possibilities of touch screen interaction at the moment and there’s definite potential here, especially with its interactive, playful search metaphor.
