Digital marketing agency – end of year review for 2008

In 2008 Jupiter Digital took a big step forward in the world of digital marketing. With an ever-increasing portfolio and growing team we launched jupiterdigital.co.uk.

As specialists in creative digital marketing, we’ve been involved with some fantastic brands last year both locally and nationally, and have had the opportunity to show off our diverse range of skills.

First up in 2008 saw the website redesign of national kitchen appliance retailer CDA. Complete with a bespoke content management system, we placed a greater focus on products, including a rollover function that gave viewers the ability to zoom in and get a more detailed view of each product.

Other website projects included The Wilson Organisation, Ikano, and Mezzino – all of which surpassed client expectations and demonstrated our attention to detail and passion for creating engaging digital communications.

Our team of digital creatives also got the chance to showcase their motions graphic skills on several occasions in 2008 by creating a series of corporate videos for ITT Water and Wastewater and high street retailer Wilkinson.

ITT wanted to communicate to their internal and external audiences in a contemporary way. Our motion graphics were coupled with a bespoke soundtrack created by local audio specialists Imagesound to do just that.

As part of the exciting Wilkinson rebrand, we were asked to engage team members and keep them up-to-date with changes affecting their store. To do this, we created a system of bespoke high impact messages communicated via 42” plasma screens in staff areas. Working with digital signage specialists Screenplay we were able broadcast information in Wilkinson stores that was instantly engaging.

Alongside our web development, internal communications, and motion graphics work we also built up effective working relationships with a range of external specialists in digital marketing services. Our relationship with SEO specialists ClickThrough Marketing means we have the necessary tools at hand to enhance our clients’ search rankings. Online advertising experts Brilliant Media helped us advise our client The Nottingham on effective advertising campaigns in order to reach target audiences.

Having already created both the brand identity and e-commerce website for online meat suppliers Broad Stripe Butchers, this year we worked with usability specialists Just Clarity to really delve into audience personas and explore different user habits. The results were outstanding and we are now using this valuable data to increase the user experience on the site and more importantly increase sales.

With a tricky economic outlook forecast for the year ahead, we’re confident that 2009 will be an even stronger year for Jupiter Digital. In an exciting industry full of opportunity, our passion for creative digital marketing will see us continue to grow and develop.
