A friend sent me a link to some work by Julien Valée. He’s a graphic designer based in Montreal, with bags of talent and some stunning conceptual work that combines different media. He definitely has his own style, which is evident when you look through his portfolio which contains some stunning work.

A new video from the always inspirational TED.com…  “Game designer David Perry says tomorrow’s computer games will be more than mere fun to the next generation of gamers. They’ll be lush, complex, emotional experiences – more involving and meaningful to some than real life.”

Electronic newspapers

I remember a scene from the film Minority Report, where a certain Mr Tom Cruise boards a tube, where people are sitting reading interactive electronic newspapers. All the papers update in real-time with his picture on the front page. Very cool/scary and apparently not so far off…
