A friend sent me a link to some work by Julien Valée. He’s a graphic designer based in Montreal, with bags of talent and some stunning conceptual work that combines different media. He definitely has his own style, which is evident when you look through his portfolio which contains some stunning work.

Most of his work focuses on motion graphics, a lot of which has a very bright and lively feel. The work that caught my most eye was the New York Times motion branding and the black and white teaser. Both are great examples of his individual style – which explores bringing tactile and digital media together, using lots of bright colours and exploring the opportunities of three dimensional space.
