A colleague once told me a story:

“A friend of mine was on Holiday in New York, whilst visiting one of the many sky scrapers in the city, he was in a lift and asked somebody he saw: ‘excuse me, how do you get to the top?’ the reply was: ‘by working long and hard buddy!’

The point is, to become better at anything requires effort. How you apply effort can be the tricky part.

Google News searches old newspapers

There’s no stopping the search giant – From The Guardian’s website… “Google marked another milestone in its ambition to organise the world’s information last night, revealing an ambitious extension of its Google News search that will make millions of pages of archived newspaper content available for free.”

Very slowly, and without anyone really noticing (until it’s too late), Google will probably know everything. Yikes.
