Wireless power
Intel and MIT are working together on the future of wireless powered devices. No longer will you swear after accidentally booting the power-plug from its socket. We’ve all done it at least once – haven’t we?
Intel’s new technology, called WREL, is a combination of wireless connectivity and electricity – it uses an idea called magnetic induction. It is a principle similar to the way a trained singer can shatter a glass using their voice (apparently).
