New website for IKANO Financial Services

IKANO Financial Services are part of the IKANO Group. Founded in the 80s by Ingvar Kamprad, the founder of Ikea, they stand out as having a different approach to creating retail finance products and services.

BBC iplayer gets a revamp

The BBC iplayer has been very successful since its launch back in December, and has reached 100 million requests to view programs since. The main development of the iplayer was to incorporate radio, so users can catch up with radio programs they may have missed on the same platform. This is not the only new feature that the iplayer now has.

TLD (top-level domains) – the .com or .uk bits of web addresses, are going to be set free to allow you to have whatever you want after the dot. Icann the people that control most TLDs, voted unanimously to relax the strict rules on TLDs, which could result in thousands or even millions of new top-level domains.

Google street view crosses the Atlantic

Google’s mapping service, street maps, have been busy driving their camera vans all over America taking pictures at street level, but now they’ve have crossed the ‘pond’ and are beginning the same process in Europe.
