Google AJAX Libraries API finally launches

Google have finally launched a much anticipated service among web developers. Use of various AJAX API libraries has become pretty ubiquitous in newer websites and unfortunately it’s getting to a point that every other page you visit makes you download yet another copy of Prototype, Mootools or jQuery wasting large amounts of bandwidth if only you could access the already cached copies that the user has already downloaded.

DIY Christmas tree for Jupiter in 2007

DIY Christmas Card

In 2007 Jupiter asked us to push the boat out for their website Christmas promotion. So we knocked some heads (and brain cells) together and came up with a DIY Christmas tree. Located on their home page, users are given a quick demo showing how to use the toolbox and then it’s “Changing Rooms” time.

Flash video for Jupiter Christmas card 2006 - Easy peasy origami

Mini Flash site for Christmas 2006

For the festive season in 2006 Jupiter asked us to give their clients a helping hand with their origami Christmas card. Jupiter’s clients received a card sporting Father Christmas without his famous boots - shock horror. They were asked to “use the way of the dragon” and embrace their (as yet undiscovered) origami skills in order to create a new pair of boots for the big man.

Farfar break out

Often interactive media uses elements of video, but it’s less common that a video incorporates an interactive element. Nokia have done just that with their new ad, get out and play, by design company Farfar.
